A Gold Thank You

Tuesday 4th August 2015 by @AgencyNurse

We have always counted ourselves very lucky that so many members of the nursing community are so actively involved in #WeNurses and have often felt that it was important to thank you all in some way but were at a loss as to how ? Then one miserable, rainy afternoon a few months back we were watching Blue Peter and the "Gold Blue Peter Badge" made an appearance ..... what a wonderful way to thank people for their outstanding work and help! Of course social media is all about "borrowing" ideas so we have created (fanfare please!) the gold (well yellowy, bronze metal!) #WeNurses Badge ... TAAA DAAAAAAA >

We can hear you all asking .... how do i get one ? Well you cant buy one or blag one you have to earn one ! (Sorry!) These beautiful shiny gold badges are for those who volunteer their time and expertise and are a thank you from us to them.  Of course having a shiny gold #WeNurses badge doesn't really get you anything (and that #shockhorror isn't actually real gold!) except the uber mega kudos that comes with it - and rest assured nursing friends and colleagues will be suitably impressed. Anyone who guest hosts and #WeNurses chat or any student who hosts a #StudentNight or anyone who is #InCharge of @WeNurses or anyone who bravely helps us out at conferences and events .... these very special people will receive their own shiny badge because we think that they are pure gold.
