We attend and run a variety of events and it is always great to see you at them!

We attend events where We can add value to those attending and when the content of the event would add value when shared with a WeCommunity.

If you are running an event where a workshop about tweeting as a healthcare professional, using twitter for knowledge sharing and gathering as well as CPD or a presentation to myth-bust and inspire your audience to join the hundreds of thousands of healthcare tweeters out there then do get in touch, likewise if you've an event that you feel has content a WeCommunity would like to tap into via some live tweeting or Periscoping (live streaming via twitter) let us know.

We also run a number of workshops starting with learning why and how to tweet, through to advance tweeting courses to improve your visibility and engagement, all the way to understanding the value of twitter as an executive or at an organisation level to, supporting a workforce looking to understand how having a tweeting workforce can improve key areas of best practice, role engagement and recruitment and tying in a social media strategy to operational objectives.

You'll find the list of events below, which community is attending and how you can attend below.

We look forward to seeing you in the flesh as it's great to tweet but brilliant to meet too!

Advancing physiotherapy: demonstrating value and impact’: 4th European congress of the European Region of the World Confederation for Physical Therapy

On the 11th and 12th of November hundreds of physiotherapists from Europe and beyond will meet in Liverpool for 2 days for the 4th European congress of the European Region of the World Confederation for Physical Therapy.

Focusing on ‘Advancing physiotherapy: demonstrating value and impact’ this is an important opportunity for physiotherapists and AHPs to share and learn from best practice around the world, and one of the conference themes focuses on practice in a digital age.

Since launching our @WeAHPs the team have aimed to ensure we monitor, evaluate and demonstrate the value and impact of our work and twitter community. As part of this we submitted 3 scientific abstracts to the conference:

•#WeAHPs - evaluation of the first year of a multiprofessional twitter community for allied health professionals.

•Suicide prevention: a planned approach to discussing a sensitive topic through tweetchats.

•A Year in the Life of a Digital Practitioner: A Retrospective Reflection.

These have all been accepted as poster presentations. Naomi McVey and Helen Owen from the WeAHPs team will therefore be attending both days to present their posters, connect with other digital practitioners, tweet from the event and promote the role of learning and networking through social media. Our allied twitter community physiotalk will also be there presenting their poster.

If you are attending come and find us at poster stand 41, 42 and 48, if not keep an eye out for tweets using #erwcpt2016 on both days as well as e-versions of our posters.
